*CALL TO WORSHIP

Easter people, Christ has completed the work of salvation, reconciling us to God so that we may
know eternal life.
Through Christ, we are made one with God.
In life, death, and Resurrection, Christ guides us into eternal life with God here and now.
Through Christ, we are made one in God.
Through prayer and teaching, healing and serving, Christ draws us together as the people of God,
diverse members of the one body.
Through Christ, we are made one with God and one another.
So, come, let us worship God who saves us into eternal life with God and one another!
Thanks be to God! Amen.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Pentecost Sunday is May 24th. A Clifton tradition on Pentecost is to give gifts to the church for various areas around the church. Items to consider:  cleaning supplies, liquid hand soap, dishwashing liquid, paper products for the kitchen and bathrooms, large black trash bags, Kleenex, office copier paper, sticky notes, etc. Of course, monetary donations are welcomed. The liturgical color for Pentecost is red, representing the fire of the Holy Spirit and we are asking the congregation to wear red attire on this day of celebration.

As we prepare to honor a special milestone in the lives of our young people, we are excited to recognize the accomplishments of our 2026 graduates on Sunday, May 31st during worship service. Please submit the names of students who will be graduating from high school and college to Siatta Ollison.

Clifton, we are preparing sandwiches for Lady T's Homeless Ministry on May 20, 2026, at 11 am in the fellowship hall. Thank you so much for your gifts of service! - Nurture/Outreach. Joyce McClendon and Vera Blackmore-Jones
